Commissioning a Pet Portrait
As both an animal lover and artist, I would be excited to create a beautiful oil or acrylic painting of your cherished pet. If you want to customize a portrait for your pet in your own style, I am here to help make your vision for a customized pet portrait truly one-of-a-kind. As a tribute to my dog named Merlin, who passed away, it is a celebration of all the little delights that make having a dog in your life such a treat.
Process
- Send me an email with your inquiry to commission with reference photos of your pet and any special requests so that I can create a truly unique, customized pet portrait for you. To get started, you simply let me know how you’d like to customize your pet portrait, and I will make sure every detail is personalized.
- My standard size and price for an 11’ x 14 in canvas panel is $200
- I will follow up to finalize details about your unique piece—let’s make your pet portrait customized perfectly for your space.
- You pay the 50% deposit.
- I will get started on your painting and be in touch when it’s finished.
- You pay the balance.
- I ship your painting. Each package is uniquely wrapped and, because you can customize your pet portrait in many ways, I ensure the artwork arrives safely and to your liking.
- Your beautiful custom painting arrives!
Custom sizes are available upon request. The price does not include shipping. For California residents, a 7.75 % sales tax will be added to the price. I use high-quality oil paint and a canvas panel. Varnish for protection from sunlight and dust. If you would prefer your painting framed, please contact me for current pricing. In fact, you can personalize every element as you customize your pet portrait, from choosing the frame to the finish style you prefer.
Please note: Refunds are not available on custom portraits, however, I will work with you until you are 100% satisfied with your portrait
